Django Reinhardt was one of the world’s greatest guitarists. But because of an accident, Reinhardt played with only two fingers which makes him even more phenomenal. His music has many dedicated fans and you’ll have a chance to hear it in Napa this July.
Michael Joseph Harris is a leading exponent of this evocative and nostalgic jazz: “This style is known by many different names – gypsy jazz, gypsy swing, jazz manouche – all kinds of names. It’s basically like a mix of gypsy folk music with American jazz,” said Harris.
Michael and his versatile group will perform this infectious music and, you can be sure, there’s gonna be some dancing in the aisles!
