Ken French is creating a jazz event you’re gonna love, a superb program with some Holiday Zest!
He has been the featured pianist at San Franciso’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel for the past 17 years. Many of you know him as the remarkable music director and arranger for the great Clairdee. Oh what a team!
But Ken is also an ensemble leader, teacher, soloist, composer, and producer here in Northern California. Originally from Seattle, he was steeped in classical piano studies as a child, became a convert to jazz, and has been performing and conducting workshops across the Western U.S. and in Japan.
Ken is front and center in the spotlight for this show.
BZF, his longtime working Trio with bassist Ron Belcher and drummer Jim Zimmerman – is a dynamic group with a High IQ that really knows how to Swing.
