Piano player MIke Greensill, who’s singing more often himself these days, will pay tribute to those unique talents, the “singing pianists.” He’ll chose songs that stretch from Fat’s Waller’s “I’m Crazy ‘Bout My Baby”, to Nat “King” Cole’s “Straighten Up and Fly Right”, to Mose Allison’s “Your Mind Is On Vacation”, to Jimmy Rowles’ masterpiece, “The Ballad of Thelonious Monk.” Plus a repertoire from such talents as Bobby Short, Shirley Horn, Ray Charles, Dave Frishberg, Bob Dorough and Charles Brown.
