Larry Vuckovich, who was Vince Guaraldi’s only student and later performed in Vince’s two-piano quintet Powder Keg, presents an authentic musical portrait of the Bay Area native and internationally acclaimed pianist: The Jazz & Latin Side of Vince Guaraldi.
Larry Vuckovich will premier one of Vince’s original compositions, a first time ever performance. And added plus: Vince’s famous duets with Brazilian guitarist Bola Sete will be performed.
The program includes Vince Guaraldi’s repertoire of Swinging Jazz, Latin/Brazilian, and some of his Pop hits including “Cast Your Fate To The Wind”, “Charlie Brown Christmas Tune”, and a selection from “Peanuts.”
