So Cool To Be Back – Live

The Napa Valley Jazz Society is back!!! Actually, we were always here, but our world took a COVID break.  Your Board is delighted to be resuming live indoor jazz concerts, continuing to follow the formula that has enabled us to succeed and to provide countless hours of musical pleasure to our Members and friends over the 10+ years ending in March 2020.

We are in touch with many wonderful jazz artists and community enthusiasm for our program seems to be high.

Like everything else in the COVID era, a few things have changed.

• Venue availability is tighter, so we will be cutting back on the frequency of shows until we can develop more alternatives.  We will be moving our preferred time slot to Sunday at 2:00 pm.  Anything during the week appears to be too early for working folks or too late for retired folks.

• Ticket prices for NVJS-produced events will increase to $35 for Members and $50 for non-Members, the first such increase in seven years.

• For special jazz opportunities, we are instituting a collaboration with Blue Note under which we each promote the event,  Blue Note manages booking, ticketing, and production, and NVJS Members receive special discounts.

We are delighted to be introducing our new website, designed to make life simpler for everyone.
