A small group of exceptional musicians from Lille, France are coming to Napa as part of an ongoing cultural exchange program. Gino Samyn led the powerful Ronchin Jazz Band at St. Supery Winery and the Opera House three years ago (video clip below). Successful shows thanks to Penelope Brault, with NVJS support. The following year, Craig Bond took his incredible Jazz @ 7 group over to France for an equally successful musical tour.
Now, Jazz @ 7 and Saxo Clone will be performing on a joint bill at Silo’s (mostly jazz with some classical spice). This exchange program continues to blossom.
